Welcome to my new segment on the blog called ” Come Dine With Me”. I will be taking you all along with me through my journey to different restaurants and trying different foods as well as sharing my experiences there with you!
Brunch is probably one of my favourite meals of the day. I can have brunch any time, all day everyday. I don’t know why but I find it so fulfilling and delicious. So I decided to start off this segment by sharing one of my favourite brunch expierences. If you want a breath taking view of the city then I defiantly recommend Lavelle. The view is absolutely stunning and the food was delicious. I have been wanting to come check out this restaurant for quiet some time now. I finally got the opportunity share my experience here with my friend Mikayla for her birthday. She was one of my first ever blogger friends! You can read more about her here and check out her blog here.
Mikayla, along with myself, is a huge fan of pink, so of course the dress code was to wear pink, and to be honest, I would not have it any other way!
For brunch I decided to go with granola and yogurt with scrambled eggs on the side. I tend to make my own granola at home and eat it for breakfast every morning and I tell myself that I make the best granola out there. Don’t believe me? Check out my recipe here. 🙂 I will have to admit though, their granola was delicious and to top off the yogurt eating experience, they served it warm. Talk about mouth watering deliciousness in your mouth. So smart! If you ever stop by for brunch, I would definitely give this dish a try.
What’s brunch without a delicious side of eggs? If its not in omelette form, then I must have my eggs scrambled with a side of ketchup. Anyone else out there feel the same way? Well these ones were delicious and definitely worth a try!
The decor in this restaurant was stunning. I mean give me lights and pink floral wall paper and I am one happy camper.
This restaurant sits 16 stories above the city, which is why it has one of the most beautiful views of the city. This resultant has a beautiful lounge bar, dining area, cabanas, and an outdoor pool. How many restraints have you gone to and can say theres a pool in the middle of it? Not many! Unfortunately I did not get the opportunity to enjoy the luxury of swimming in the pool but it was defiantly one of a kind.
