St. Patrick’s Green Detox Smoothie

Happy St. Patrick’s Day Ladies! What better than to start off a day with a green detox smoothie! Yum Yum Yum! I love starting off my day with a detox smoothie. I feel so refreshed and energized. Many of you may be going out and enjoying a night out in the town with your friends and may require this delicious drink for the next morning ;). Either way it will help kick start your day the right way! I always love adding fruit into my green smoothies to give it a sweeter taste. Sometimes having a boring veggie based smoothie isn’t all that tasty… at least for me. That’s why I love adding fruit. Fruits are just as healthy and gives it more of a delicious, sweet, and savory taste. An alternative for the water I used in my recipe you can simply add 100% freshly squeezed orange juice or coconut water. Both are great and healthy alternatives!

The spinach paired with the banana in this smoothie provide you with a great source of vitamin K, vitamin A, potassium, and tons of dietary fiber. Drinking this in the morning will help kick start the engines of your organs and help move things around in your digestive tract to help get you through your day.

Ingredients
  • 2 Cups Spinach
  • 3 Celery Stalk
  • 1/2 Cucumber
  • 5 Strawberries
  • 1/3 Banana
  • 1 Slice Lemon
  • 1/2 Cup Water
Instructions
  1. Grind the greens in a juicer. Spinach, celery, and cucumber


  2. In a blender add in the green juice and add all the other ingredients the including water, strawberries and banana.
