If you are someone like me who loves colour in their wardrobe, then these outfits are definitely a must for you! Styling yourself sometimes is like art, for me the more colour the better. Adding colour and mixing and matching with different swatches really puts your inner artist to test. I think playing with colours has always been a knack of mine ever since I was a little girl. I remember my mother telling me stories of myself as a child and how I would come up with these crazy outfits. I would run upstairs and play dress up and come back with a bright green skirt and purple tights, with a pink top, and paired with multicoloured jewelry decorated allover my body. My hair would always have either a bow or sparkly headband in it. I would always prance around the house with my fancy shoes so I could hear the ‘tap-tap’ sounds as I walked around. This story may sound cute now, but I can attest and say I have seen the pictures, and they were scary. At least my mom never made me leave the house like that… most of the time.
This weeks post is about How To Style Coloured Pants. For some of us, this style isn’t easy to work with. I came up with three different looks using three different coloured pants to help give you some inspiration and guidance on how to style them.
This first outfit I decided to stay with a softer colour palette. I paired my pink pants with this white off the shoulder top. I added some embellishment with this soft pink necklace. I matches my accessories of my shoes and my purse. The soft pastel blue helps to compliment to soft pink in the pants. (PS. Have you seen these shoes?!?! HOW CUTE? I am so in love with them! Very spring and summer.)

Top: H&M $29.99
Shoes: Winners $29.99
Necklace: Joe Fresh $29.99
You can’t deny I had creative style and I had a mind for imagination when it came to fashion. I have always had a passion for it and the beautiful art that came with it. While my style may not be your style, the smiles on my face are from true happiness and the radiating energy I feel and endure when I put on a pretty outfit.
This next outfit I did not shy away from colour! I added so many different aspects to this outfit. The poka dot top allowed me to mix and match with so many different colours. It compliments the blue pants, with the yellow purse, and the pink earrings. I simplified my shoes and went with a nude to help balance it out.

This last outfit I went with some texture of the lace top with the bright red pants. I added some playful accessories with the rose print loafers, the cheetah print purse, and the tassled earings. This is a fun look that can be worn to school, work, or play.
