Turkey Meatballs

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs Ground Turkey
  • 3/4 Cup Parsley
  • 1/2 Cup Skim Milk
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 Onion
  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 3/4 Cup Bread Crumbs
  • 2 tbls Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Cup Basil
  • 1 1/2 Cans Homemade Tomato Sauce
  • 1 tbls Dried Oregano
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
Instructions
  1. Start off by putting the olive oil and garlic in a medium sized pan and have it saute for about 5 minutes. 

  2. Add in the tomato sauce, dried oregano, basil, salt, and pepper and have it sit on medium-low for about 10 minutes. 

  3. Whole the sauce is cooking, grab a bowl on the side and mix in all the dry ingredients. Ground turkey, parsley, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion, eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. 

  4. Once all the ingredients are mixed in grab an ice cream scoop and scoop the ingredients into medium sized ice cream balls. Half the size of a tennis ball 

  5. Grab a large pan place it over medium to low heat, and pour the cooked tomato sauce for a base. Then add the raw turkey balls. Make sure they separated by at least half an inch so they do not stick together. Then pour sauce over them again and have them simmer for 10 minutes. 

  6. Make sure to roll the meat balls around every 3 minutes to have them cook all around.
