Ingredients
Hummus
  • 1 Can Lentils
  • 1/2 Cup Tahini
  • 1/2 Cup Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Pepper
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 1/2 Freshly squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 1 Whole Red Onion
Sauteed Red Onions
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 2 tbls Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbls Balsamic Vinegar (Optional)
Instructions
  1. Cut the red onion and put it on a low simmer on the stove. Mae sure to mix it every 2 minutes until golden brown.


  2. Measure and add the rest of the ingredients and put them all into the blender. Blend it all up together.


  3. Once the caramelized onions are done sautéing, add them into the blender with the rest of the mix.

     

  4. Serve with crackers or veggies of your choice.
