Elegant Champagne

 

How many cocktail dresses is too many? If you said ‘ there’s never enough cocktail dresses’ you are correct! We all know I am no stranger to dresses, in fact, they consume 80% of my closet! It’s no secret I am dress-obsessed! Never the less, I fell in love with this gorgeous champagne dress from Lace & Charm. You may have noticed in Monday’s post that I styled the cutest off the shoulder top for summer. Lace & Charm literally have the cutest items in their store! Once in a while, Gavin and I like to treat our selves to a night out in the town. Go to a nice restaurant, grab a few drinks and just have fun! We are one of those couples that are constantly on the go and always super busy! With Gavin studying for medical school and myself running a blog and juggling a full-time career, it can get quite crazy.

 

On our date nights, I always insist that I dress up and look pretty. Having the feeling of putting on a gorgeous cocktail dress with a pair of heels makes me feel so good! I absolutely love the process of getting ready, putting on my make-up, doing my hair, and figuring out what to wear. Something about it makes me feel very therapeutic, and since date nights are supposed to be fun and relaxing why not pamper yourself beforehand?!

 

I particularity love this champaign dress because it has a sense of glamour and simplicity, but my favourite part of this dress is the gorgeous bow at the back! How cute is that? The halter neckline and the shimmery metallic champaign colour give it the perfect girly yet elegant touch. This dress is perfect for the spring and summer time because it is lightweight and the shift shape of it makes it comfortable and breezy.
