If there are two things in the fashion world that I am not shy of, it’s definitely colour and gingham. The minute I locked eyes on this skirt I knew it had to be mine. Ever since I saw this gingham skirt on Julia Engel I immediately fell in love and knew I had to find a more affordable version. Now that spring is here and the trees are blooming in the city I thought this was a perfect time to bring out the skirt and wear it. It embodies the colours of the rainbow and it just so playful and perfect for spring.
Every year around this time the cherry blossoms and magnolia’s start blooming like crazy. Of course, I drag Gavin out almost every night for a walk to just take it all in. Being cooped up inside all winter long can really have you missing the fresh outdoors!
As I was walking down the street in this skirt for some reason it brought me back to my trip last year to Charleston. Charleston was such a beautiful, colourful, and peaceful place to be. I remember walking down the street in one of my favourite gingham dresses from last summer down Rainbow Row. For those of you who don’t know. Rainbow Row is a street full of colourful homes and it is just perfect for any photo opt!
