Mixing and matching prints are all the rage this season. This is probably one of my favourite trends to play around with. You have so many options. Polkadots, leopard, striped, floral, and the list goes on! One of my favourite prints for fall is leopard. Leopard, for many of us, is no stranger to our fall wardrobes. When I found this blazer I immediately envisioned styling it with a polka dot skirt or dress. Now, I don’t know if you are like me, but the minute I get something in my head, I can’t get it out. It becomes an obsession. Hense this beautiful number I put together right here!
Now, I tend to gravitate towards fall when getting creative and start mixing and matching patterns. The prints are just so much bolder and adding layers helps to create depth in your outfits. Last year’s post on mixing and matching prints was one of my favourites. Make sure to go check it out and get some inspiration.
As you can see in this outfit I decided to go with two of my favourite prints. Leopard and polka dots. When starting out you always want to make sure you go for a subtle print and a print that’s a little bolder. The polka dots are smaller and softer so it blends well with the darker and bolder leopard print. In this post, I mixed floral and leopard print with the leopard print being the more subtle piece.
