When it comes to a weekend brunch, I don’t think there has ever been an occasion where I turned one down. I don’t know what to fascination is about brunch but I am all about this ‘fad‘. The way I see it is, brunch is just another excuse to see your friends and family, share some mimosas, and gossip on a summer patio with your croissants and scrambled eggs. I’m not sure about you, but I love breakfast food. Heck, sometimes when Gavin and I don’t know what to make for dinner, we whip up some scrambled eggs and pancakes and call it a night. You have your carbs and protein, what else do you need? It is always so satisfying and delicious.
Weekends are a time to relax and hang out with your friends. I love brunch because I can enjoy breakfast food at 11 am or even 1 pm. I don’t have to wake up at the crack of dawn on my one and only day to catch up on some ‘zzzz’. Another reason I love a good brunch is that I can dress up in some cute fancy outfit. I mean I never really need a reason to dress up, but if you give me one I won’t turn it down…ever! Last weekend Gavin and I woke up and decided to find a nice patio to enjoy our morning brunch. It was a beautiful morning and we decided to treat ourselves. Recently I have been all over the yellow and red contrast. It is such a vibrant colour combination and it gives off a fresh and happy vibe!
