It is finally February 1st and you know what that means? Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Now I know this isn’t everyone favourite holiday of the year and I can definitely see why, but thats no excuse to have a little fun and look at the bright side of things! Making cute desserts, surrounding yourself in all the pretty pink things, and just having fun with friends and loved ones. One of my favourite things to do around Valentines day (and any festive holiday of the year) is create delicious recipes and pretty DIY’s. Anyone else with me on this one? Every year someone gives and receives boxes of chocolates or truffles for Valentines day, but why not make it a little more personal this year and make this simple, yet fun, truffle recipe! Everyone loves homemade gift so much more than bought gift. Homemade gifts show the person your giving the gift to that you put time and effort to think about them and it makes the gift that much more special! I mean who doesn’t love that? And if you don’t have a special someone to gift something too then these homemade truffles go REALLY well with a bottle of wine and some girlfriends 😉 .
