Happy Friday my loves!
Today I am sharing with you another Outfit Of the Day! I absolutely love this dress. It is so bright, fun and colourful! When I was growing up I never ever wore black. My cloths always had to be colourful. I also never wore jeans, for some reason we never got along, but thats a story for a different day.
I remember growing up my mom would always have to dress me. Looking back at it now, I don’t really hold a grudge at her for looking out for me. If I dressed myself, I would look like a frizzy haired rainbow walking out the door with my moms heels on and my toy store lipstick smothered all over my face. At least I can laugh at these stories now. I remember I used to have a drawer full of colourful skirts, pantyhose, shirts, and lets not forget the accessories! I was decked out from head to toe! Everyday after school I would run upstairs, take off the cloths my mom made me wear that day and change into something I thought was ‘prettier’. No word of a lie, I would wear a bright red skirt, with a purple top, green pantyhose, white lace socks, multicoloured pearl-like jewelry, and I always had to have a pretty headband in my hair. I’m telling you, I was a rocket back then! Watch out Gucci!
This dress definitely reminds me of the good old days. I have to say that I’m glad that throughout the years of growing up, I have come to find my style. It may not be everyones style, but it is defiantly my own. This dress brings back a whole bunch of memories and fun times spent dressing up as a kid and having fun with so many different colours. Kids have the craziest imaginations, and this aztec print sums up my childhood fashion in one dress.
Do you guys have any crazy fashion disaster stories as a kid? If so I’d love to ear them. 🙂
