As Heidi Klum would say, “One day you’re in, and the next day you’re out.” Trends always come and go and while most people tend to wear whatever they like, it doesn’t matter what age you are, some trends are only meant for certain age groups. I mean think about it, look at pictures from 10 years ago, most of the time your either thinking “how did I ever wear that” or ” there’s no way I can pull that style off now”. Then again there are a lot of classic pieces out there that never go out of style and can be worn by women of all ages- blazers, knee length skirts, and boots. A recent trend that has been trending down the runways is the cold-shoulder trend. This trend seems to be incredibly flattering for every women out there.
When this trend first came out I didn’t know how I felt about the style, but just like any other style unless you try it on and test it out you never know how it will look. In stores now, this trend has been translated into dresses, jumpsuits, and even swimwear.
This shirt that I am styling today is appropriate for many occasions. I wear this top to work all the time to the office and even out for dinner or drinks with friends. It is a very versatile and classic piece. The ruffles around the shoulder really helps to add the feminine detail and give this outfit a more girly vibe to it.
This outfit is very simple and classy so it was really easy for me to accessorize it and add a pop of colour in my shoes. I love these Anne Klein shoes I purchased from winners. The heel is not too high and I love the pointy toe detailing which really helps to slim down your foot and elongate your legs.
