Floral’s are no stranger to us in the spring and summer time. Its the “go-to” pattern every girl thrives on. I love going on walks and finding pretty gardens to walk through and different nature trails to venture through. This park in Toronto is super cute! In the summer time it is blooming with flowers and its the perfect place to sit and enjoy some beautiful nature and relaxation.
Lately, Toronto has been getting quite a bit of rain fall. Luckily for mother nature the green grass and the colourful flowers are blooming at full force! This outfit is perfect for a long walk in the park or an elegant garden party with your friends. ๐
Skirts are my new FAD this year, typically midi length skirts. I just can’t get enough of them! They are so girly and fun and easy to throw on with a cute tank for the warmer weather. Midi skirts are everywhere now a days on runways, store windows, and in magazines. I was on the hunt for a cute floral (pink floral to be exact) midi skirt for the season. I came across this one from Zara and could not resist it! It is gorgeous and perfect for this seasons fashion trends.
I have come up with 3 styling tips to help you master the Midi skirt ๐
1. Balance your look- If you are going to go with a printed skirt, try and add neutrals, especially with your shoes. Because the patterns are close together, the colours and patters can clash very easily. If you wanted to go with a colourful shoe, make sure the colour is the same colour as the skirt or compliments the pattern in the skirt.
2. Find the right silhouette- If you have more of a petite figure, a pencil midi skirt would probably flatter your figure more. If you are a curvy lady, a flare out skirt will help emphasize your curves in a sexy and tasteful way.
3. Keep it lady like and have fun- fashion is always fun and allows you to express yourself. If you are a girly girl, make sure your outfit is fun and flirty. Add accessories such as pearls and gemstones to give your outfit a little more “pazazz”. ๐
