Hey hey heyyyy! It’s Friday and I could not be more excited! I am all set and ready to take on this long weekend! I love having an extra day to sleep in. Gavin and I are heading up to Kingston to spend sometime quality time with his family and friends. The weather is supposed to be amazing so I plan on sitting by the pool all weekend with a cold glass of wine. I know, not to shabby ehh?
The Toronto Islands have finally opened! It’s not summer in Toronto if the islands are closed, but with all the rain we have been getting, they had to shut them down for safety reasons. Nevertheless, it’s finally opened and we are going to head on over on Monday! Woo Woo! I am so excited, I love going to the island. They have beaches, restaurants, you can picnic there, they have an amusement park for kids, and you can rent bikes and ride along the board walk! Its perfect so stay tuned on social media for updates about that! 🙂
Alrighty, so today’s outfit is a perfect summer staple piece and my go-to! On those hot and humid days, I try and wear something that is easy and light weight and does not allow me to get too hot. This includes blacks and dark colours, and any item that covers the shoulders and legs. I love this top that I purchased last summer from H&M. It is super cute and has a soft look to it and I paired it with my favourite pair of white shorts, which I also purchased last year from H&M.
One day last week, my sister and I were walking downtown through little Italy to grab a gelato when I saw the pink flamingo wall! I know! How cute is it?! This pretty wall is located on the corner of College St. and Concord St. I needed to grab some quick shots of this background and post it for you all to see because who doesn’t love a pretty pink wall? 🙂
