Summer time is one of the best times to get outside and explore different places or even just being outside in the park and tossing around a frisbee with friends. In Canada, our winters can get pretty cold which means we like to hibernate a lot and stay away from the outdoors. When summer comes around I try to take advantage of the beautiful weather and get outdoors! Like I’ve said before, Gavin and I love going on road trips together and Niagara-on-the-lake is one of my favourite places to visit! It is such a beautiful place with a very cute small town village feel to it. I come to visit Niagara quite a few times in the past with my family, but Gavin has never been so I was really excited to finally get the chance to show him around! Just as I expected he feel in love with it just as much as I did when I first came here! Everyone is so nice and welcoming here, and the neighbourhood is one of the absolute cutest neighbourhoods ever. It is a very touristy area, so the main drag where all of the shops are can get fairly busy during the day, and especially on weekends. Did I forget to mention that this place has a million ice cream shops?! Yeah I know, I had the hardest time choosing where I wanted to get my ice cream from. Now, I didn’t have a chance to go by all of the ice cream shops, but I guess that means we will have to just keep coming back until I do 🙂 Yummm!!!
Niagara-on-the-lake has so much heritage and beauty to it. It is covered with flower-filled, tree-lined old town features 19th-century buildings. The town sits on the shores of Lake Ontario, right by the Niagara River. Niagara is known for its wineries and the summer Shaw Festival, a series of theatre productions. Some of the Shaw Festival productions can usually be seen at the red and white building shown above.
Price of Whales – Nobel Restaurant Â
If you love brunch and love Victorian style ambiance then you will love The Noble restaurant. I would definitely recommend coming here. The service is great and the food was absolutely amazing! We kept raving about it on the way home.
One thing that this restaurant offered that had us craving to go back is their Traditional Afternoon Tea. How much fun does that sound? I personally have never been to a tea  party or a “traditional” tea event. The event revels the authentic English tradition by sampling teas, succulent pastries, sandwiches and scones in the most beautiful tearoom you’ll ever see. I think it would be a great event to experience!
I ordered a green tea with the feta cheese and roasted red pepper omelette with a side of fresh fruit, crispy potatoes, and rye bread. Yes it was just as delicious as it sounds! My mouth is watering typing this out!

The streets of Niagara are decorated with a gorgeous array of flowers! It was absolutely stunning walking these streets!
For my outfit I wore my white frilled collar shirt from Zara with my pink layered skirt from J. Crew. I thought this outfit was so adorable, bright and fresh looking! For my accessories I wore my gold Aldo sandals with my Cult Gaia hand bag.
Have you ever been to Niagara-on-the-lake? If so what places have you visited? 🙂
