Do you ever feel that you have one colour scheme in your closet? Always go for the same colours when you look at items in the store? Many people say all they wear is black or grey. That’s my mom, she always wants to dress in colourful clothing and expand her closet but always goes back to the all-black-wardrobe. For myself I am the same way, I like my blacks, but I also love my pink and white coloured clothing. Don’t get me wrong I always love experimenting with different patterns, colours and fabrics, but everyone has those staple items in their closet that they feel comfortable in!
This look that I am styling here today is absolutely stunning. This white coat from Zara is so elegant and really helps to give you some shape around the waste to give you definition. This contrasted pink and black skirt is also from Zara. I love the lace detailing along the bottom, it helps to give it more of a girly and fun vibe to the outfit. I decided to go simple and I paired the skirt with my black lace camisole from H&M. You can never go wrong with a basic black laced camisole. It goes with everything!
I really enjoy this outfit be because it’s the perfect day to night kind of look. You can easily transition this outfit for an evening look if your going out to a party of event after work and don’t have time to run home and change outfits. For myself, living uptown Toronto does not give me enough time to run home and change to attend another event at night. Easy transition is key and so much easier. This is why finding out and accessible outfits like this is perfect!
