Marks my words—there will be deep shades of green everywhere this fall. Even though the leaves may be slow to change colour, it doesn’t mean you can’t catch a glimpse of fall inspiration around the city. When Gavin and I go on our evening or weekend walks we always love to look for anything that will catch our eye and find some inspiration for the blog. We came across this little courtyard of green doors and I knew it was the perfect place for a fall inspired look.
My fall wardrobe is quite colourful, as is most of my other wardrobes, but there are a few key colours that you will be sure to find. Recently I have had my eye on forest green pieces. Even though I love bright colours such as pinks and yellows, I think forest green is a great hue to style and add to your colour palette.
If you are looking for a cute fall outfit to wear to an afternoon event or an evening dinner with friends that has a little bit of a French twist to it then this look is the one for you! There is something about berets that has me hooked this year. I have always loved the style of them but I never thought I could pull off the cute french-girl look. I purchased my first beret last winter and wore it constantly. This year I decided to purchase them in many colours because they are the cutest accessory to add to any outfit! This green one is by far my favourite and I was so excited to incorporate it into my fall wardrobe this year.
This outfit incorporates so many different trends for fall, not only with the items itself but with the colours and patterns. Plaid is very in this season and I love the classic houndstooth plaid. This pattern has a warm fall tone that adds a festive touch to your fall wardrobe.
