Away with the beachy sandals and welcome in all the beautiful boots for fall. I cannot begin to explain how happy I am to take my fall clothing out. Don’t get me wrong, my favourite seasons are spring and summer but there is something about fall that gets me excited and gives me a warm feeling inside. It wasn’t too long ago that I was able to clear out my closet to bring in my fall and winter wardrobe. While there are many things in my wardrobe I love, there are always a few items that are always my go-to. The number one boot that is in my closet and you’ll catch my wearing all season long are my over the knee boots. It seems like fall has yet to start and I have already warn them a bunch of times.
Over the knee boots are easy boots to wear and style with many different outfits in your closet. They are some of the most flattering footwear you can put on. By cutting off above the knee, they instantly elongate and slim the leg. As you can see here and here, these boots have been a staple in my wardrobe for quite some time and serve many purposes. Firstly, they are stylish and can be styled with almost any outfit for fall. Secondly, once the weather starts to get colder they are great for keeping your legs warm. I love wearing my skirts and dresses all year long so to prevent me from wearing tights or pants I love throwing on these boots to help keep me warm.
