Driving home after our long weekend getaway to Kingston Ontario, I was memorized by this beautiful rose garden. This garden was filled with gorgeous white arches with baby pink rose vines all over them. I told Gavin we needed to stop and take pictures! Anytime I spot something pink I’m attracted to it like a magnet! Am I the only one out there who does that?
Recently, I have been gravitating more towards midi length dresses. Check out my Garden Party post where I give you 3 tips to help master the midi length! Midi dresses and midi skirts are both a trend I have been wearing more of recently. They are versatile, elegant, and very feminine looking.
In the summertime I live in skirts and dresses, it’s rare that you will find me walking around in a pair of jeans. This dress I wore today goes perfectly with flat sandals, which feels pleasurable and feminine with a minimal, elegant, block heel, and it works just as well with a pair of white sneakers. I found this baby blue dress at H&M. This dress gives off a country-girl vibe. I paired this dress with my new favourite bag of the season, my wicker pink cross-body from Zara. I stuck with the basics for the shoes and used my go-to grey Steve Maddens. Here is another way I styled these sandals. They have been my go-to sandal because they are comfortable and can be styled with any summer look.
When it comes to wicker bags, they always have a vintage look and feel to them. My mom actually pointed this purse out to me. She said it looked very elegant and classic and I couldn’t agree more with her. I love the faux leather flap which helps to give it more of a modern look. The versatility of the double straps allows you to make this item your staple bag for the summer.
