There is nothing I love more than a flattering lace dress for the springtime. This one, in particular, is glamorous, elegant, and timeless. Julia Engel, CEO of the blog Gal Meets Glam, recently designed her own dress collection. All of her pieces, much like her self, are absolutely stunning! Each dress has a special meaning and a story behind it. I am currently wearing the Judith dress which she named after her mother. When I saw this dress I immediately knew this one had to be mine. As you may already be aware, I am obsessed with dresses. There is something about putting on a gorgeous dress that makes me feel happy, makes me feel empowered, and makes me feel so beautiful and special that I can do anything!
A little over a year ago I started my blog. I have been following bloggers and vloggers for many years and I have always admired the skill and talent behind all of these wonderful women. Julia Engel has always been an inspiration for me. She is such a lovely, true, and beautiful person inside and out and you can really grasp that through her work and her passion towards her blog and her devotion to her followers.
The way this dress is designed is truly amazing. The best part that I can appreciate about Julia’s collection is that her dresses are made for women of all shapes and sizes and they flatter all women! This dress, in particular, has an A-line sinch to help define your waist and your curves. The bow detailing on the sleeves really help to give the dress a little more girly character while the collar adds sophistication. I decided to keep my accessories in a neutral colour for this look because I really wanted the emphasis to be on the dress its self. I added my favourite wedges (which can also be seen here) and my little beige bucket bag (similar). One of my favourite accessory pieces are statement earrings and I absolutely love these ones!
