One of the biggest trends we have been seeing this winter is ruffled sleeve sweaters. They are all over the Instagram feeds and stalked on every shelf in the stores. Ruffles add a little flattery and abstract to any outfit! The ruffle trend first started out back in the 1960’s and in today’s society we started incorporating the ruffles firstly into a peplum shirts and blouses. Now, we are going all out and adding them all over our sleeves! The more drama the better. Ruffles can be worn by everyone and any one because they are able to add flattery to any type of silhouette. They even take the job of an accessory. Adding a little ruffle to your look can be enough to replace a statement necklace or stylish bangles. They are able to bring a tasteful statement to an outfit so you don’t need to worry about the added accessory.
In today’s look I am styling this warm white ruffled sleeve sweater for those colder days! I added this gorgeous pink faux leather pencil skirt. It’s a perfect look for the conservative type of women as well as a cute look for the office. Wearing outfits to work doesn’t need to be boring. I love spicing up my outfits with a little flare and glamour! As long as it’s appropriate why not? I decided to pull the outfit together with my favourite velvet pink heels from Nine West and my quilted clutch from Winners.
