Hello there! Welcome back to my blog 🙂 Hope all of you lovely people had a wonderful week !
Today’s Fashion Friday’s post is about how to style Felt Floppy Hats! They’re a super fun way to bring a little ’70s flavor to your outfit, whether they’re felt, straw, or wool. This is a trend I have been wanting to try for a while. The floppy hat trend is cool because you can pull of a glamorous look with one outfit but also help by compliment and being the finishing touch to a casual outfit. I used to never be a hat person. Not even baseball hats in the summer time or toque in the winter time. I felt that hats always looked good on other people and never looked good on me! I decided to just splurge on a hat and try to style it, and I am so glad I did! I am obsessed with this hat! It fits with every cute spring and summer outfit. I know that I will be wearing this all season long and looking super chic and stylish :).
In this post I decided to put together 3 outfits with , a dress, pants, and a skirt to help give you guys ideas and inspirations on How-To-Style floppy hats. 🙂
Outfit #1
This outfit is very spring an summer inspired! I love the bell sleeves on this dress. It helps to compliment the volume that the hat provides. I styled this dress with my red Kate Spade shoes to help bring out the red embroidery detail of the flowers in the dress. I incorporated “Maria’s Touch” by adding this yellow cross-body bag  to add a statement piece and bring a pop of colour to the outfit. This outfit is a fun and versatile day-time piece and perfect for a fun summers day out in the park or walking your dog.

Outfit #2
This is outfit is probably my favourite of them all! It is really chic and trendy. I styled this dark teal shirt with my poka-dot pants. I love poka-dot patterned pieces because they are really easy to mix and match with different colours and different patterns. I decided to add a more modern touch with my shoes by adding these oxford loafers from Zara!

Outfit#3
This third outfit is the most girly for sure! I love wearing skirts and dresses in the summer time. They are so easy to wear and throw on and feel pretty! 🙂 The skirt was purchased at Brandy Melville, and while burgundy might not be in this summers must-have colour palette, I feel it helps give this outfit a more urban look and feel. I paired this outfit with a simple black sandal to  compliment the black hat. I needed to add “Maria’s Touch” to this outfit some how so I added this stripped shirt and teal studded bag, giving this outfit a bit of an edgy aspect to it.
