What to Wear to a Summer Wedding + GIVEAWAY

Have you checked your calendars yet? If not then you better hurry because it’s wedding season and we need to pick you up fabulous to wear! I absolutely love wedding season because it is full of love, laughter, and everyone is always having a good time. Plus it gives me an excuse to glam up and wear the prettiest summer dress yet!

I don’t know about you but picking out a dress for a wedding is the most fun! Some people find it to be such a nightmare while others just have that one dress that they don’t even think about and throw on for every single wedding. No! We need to stop because there is no excuse for that! First of all, you need to find a dress that is easy breezy. It’s summer and that means the heat is going to be coming in strong with that sun! There is no point suffering throughout the day in a cotton dress that you have probably worn a million times. If this is you, you need to stop now! There are so many amazing dress options out there for everyone and every price point because let’s be honest, weddings can be expensive.

As you may probably already be aware, I love supporting Canadian brands, especially Canadian Fashion brands. Over the past couple of months, I have fallen in love with a brand called Lace & Charm. As you can tell from my outfits here and here they have the prettiest dress collection so I knew exactly where to go when wedding season came about.

In our photos, both Niki and I are styling the stunning pieces from Lace & Charm. You may notice that Niki is wearing a jumpsuit and wondering ‘well that’s different’ and it is! Jumpsuits are so comfortable and so versatile that you can wear then absolutely everywhere even a wedding! I especially love the Eliana Jumpsuit because the lace detailing along the neckline and the layers in the front because it adds some texture and depth to her look. The fabric is also very light and breathable which is so important to be comfortable during those hot summer days.

I decided to style the Angela Chocker Wrap dress because I have been loving halter necklines recently. This dress is really flattering along the neckline with the chocker detail and the deep plunge v-line. I love how the bottom half of the dress had a wrap detail because it allows the dress to be really flowy and also creating a flowy train at the back. Both of these dresses are so practical and perfect for any summer wedding and destination you go to.
