Fall is by far the most beautiful season there is. Although, I might be biased because I am a sucker for colourful things. Living in the city, you don’t get an opportunity to really experience the best fall has to offer in terms of beautiful foliage. As some of you may know, Gavin’s family is from Kingston, Ontario which is just a 2 and a half hour drive outside of the city. Every time we drive up in the fall we always like to stop and take advantage of what the countryside has to offer. On our way up recently, we decided to stop halfway in Prince Edward County where we also enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Grange Winery.
We stumbled upon the cutest farm and farmhouse behind. Everything was stunning with the beautiful antiques and colourful trees everywhere. Growing up a city girl, I always thought it would be impossible to leave the city and live in the countryside. After three years of being with the most amazing guy a girl could ask for, Gavin has somehow managed to convince me to love the country. He grew up a country boy living in small towns as a child. While I still am not 100% convinced to move out of the city just yet, he has definitely opened my eyes to what the countryside has to offer. In all honesty, I believe I secretly always loved it and never realized it.
