This is the busiest time of the year for baking in our household. Even though it’s the coldest time of the year, it is super warm and cozy inside with all of the delicious and festive baked goods. I love playing Christmas music, maybe pop in a cheesy Hallmark movie marathon and bake away. While I love trying new recipes, sometimes baking the traditional cookies every year is just as fun. Here is what I am baking this holiday season. First off we have the classic Ginger Molasses Cookie. I love enjoying these chewy with a cup of hot chocolate. I decided to bake these years ago and they were inspired by the Starbucks giant ginger cookie. The flavours of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and cloves are very festive. These are just some of the spices needed for this delicious cookie.
December is the perfect time to indulge in all the holiday baking we want! Luckily, I’ve rounded up all of my favouite Christmas desserts I have baked over the years. If you love decorating holiday cookies then you will love my snowflake sugar cookies linked below. They are super easy to make and very fun to decorate with the entire family. While I am not the only one who will be baking in my house hold, the list below is just a small sample of the cookies that will be indulged this holiday season.
